Inter-Ion also offers CNC machining, turning & milling

We initially established this capability in house to minimize wait-time & cost associated with re-work of parts by our customers. There are instances where tight tolerances are required and the coating thickness is just enough to override the tolerances. Since we fully understand the coating materials finished behavior, in these situations we do both, machine the parts and apply the coatings. We offer our machining services on a stand-alone basis as well.

A leader in the formulation and application of engineered coating systems, we have expertise in applying a large number of thermosets, thermoplastics, and a variety of engineered coatings. Inter-Ion offers a wide variety of current and emerging coating technologies.

At Inter-Ion, we assist our customers in solving complex engineering problems.

In some cases, we have been given the full responsibility to engineer, design, fabricate, and finish components, sub-assemblies, and full assemblies. Our engineers use the latest tools, such as computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) to perform their tasks and optimize the performance targets.

Inter-Ion has a full line of fabrication and machining capabilities.

In addition, we provide assembling services to further reduce time and costs associated to things, such as, shipping back & forth and packaging and un-packaging. Inter-Ion has a full line of fabrication and machining capabilities. This allows Inter-Ion to offer a one-stop source to its customers.

Our Facility

Inter-Ion is located in Ascot Industrial Park in Akron, Ohio. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is designed to provide complete, end-to-end solutions for our customers. Equipped with advanced CNC machining centers, precision turning equipment, engineering and design resources, powder coating systems, welding capabilities, and quality inspection equipment, our facility allows us to efficiently manage projects from concept through production.

By housing multiple manufacturing processes under one roof, we eliminate unnecessary outsourcing, reduce lead times, save cost and maintain strict quality control throughout every stage of production. Our integrated approach enables us to support prototype development, low-volume production, and high-volume manufacturing while delivering the precision, reliability, and performance our customers expect.
